UST Assessment Inspection
Tanknology customers now have a new tool to evaluate acquisition or retention of property with underground storage tank (UST) sites. Assessment Inspections provide potential commercial gas station owners the advantage of having knowledgeable environmental professionals conduct an assessment of the entire UST system before purchase or sale of property. UST Assessment Inspections can be used in conjunction with property appraisals. 

As part of the assessment, information regarding site history, storage systems specifications, leak detection records, cathodic protection plans, as well as any upgrades or changes made to the site are reviewed by Tanknology staff. Detailed information regarding the UST can include an evaluation of the integrity of the UST system using Tanknology's exclusive Petroscope™ internal video tank inspection technology or in the case of fiberglass tanks; an evaluation can be conducted utilizing Tanknology's Bottom Flatness Testing to check for tank deformation. Tanknology staff makes recommendations as to what repairs or upgrades may need to be completed in order to continue operation of the UST system or if the site should be closed.

Site Surveys
Site surveys provide improved facility asset management by documenting equipment type, components, and property conditions at each site.

    management processes are being followed and regulatory records
    are being maintained at the site
